Today was one of those 'tick off a Bucket List item' kind of day. Arguably the oldest rivalry in sport is between the respective Australia and England teams, in the Test Match format of cricket - we simply know it as The Ashes.
Day 1 of the "Boxing Day Test", at the "MCG", with ya mates, watching the Aussie's getting stuck into the Poms ..... can't get much better than that. 
We left the cricket about ½ an hour before "stumps", partly due to the crowd starting to get messy, but also to head back to the hotel for a tub as were meeting one of Karlie's mates for dinner at Hophaus Bier Bar Grill.
We ended our night with Gelato and a stroll along the "Southbank" precinct back to the Holiday Inn.
All up, it ended up being a brilliant day.
