After getting squared away at the Holiday Inn, which included a few funny looks as I was carting my swag, Waeco fridge and several bags up to our room. It must have looked like the Clampett's had moved in. 
We spent Christmas dinner with a couple of great mates of mine - Rodney "Rab" Watkins and Harry "Uncle Arthur" Stubbins, in a Japanese restaurant, which was literally the only place we could find open within walking distance.
