Lennox Head is located 754 kilometres (469 miles) north of Sydney via the Pacific Highway and 184 kilometres (114 miles) south of Brisbane

  • It was named by Captain Henry Rous, who seemed to be keen to name everything he saw after Charles Lennox.
  • The headland, also known as Lennox Point, is used by surfers, who come for the noted righthand break.
