The first iteration of this website began back in 1995, when I moved to live permanently in the United States and came about solely due to necessity and cost. I was "snail mailing" family and friends back in Australia and found that a letter with a couple of photos would cost me $5 - $10 a throw.
As a Diesel Fitter by trade, I knew there had to be a more time efficient and cost effective alternatives, so ended up teaching myself HTML and with a fair amount of web plagiarism and some help from a couple of individuals I worked with – here we are today.
This current website version is number 9 and marks the 21st anniversary of having hosting my website and domain with those decidedly primitive efforts and I’m pleased to say ... that both technology and my skillset have come a long way – hope you enjoy the new looks and features of the site.
