Greeting & Salutations Culture Vultures,
The World Golden Oldies Rugby Festival comes around every two years and alternates between the Northern and Southern hemispheres. This year, it was the turn of the Argentinian coastal city of Mar del Plata.
As with previous festivals, a pre-trip was in order, based losely on several peoples wishes & wants. In the end the Alice Springs Dingoes settled on checking out Peru, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay.
When all is said and done, it's took 1643 emails, 508 days, 11 travel agents, 7 airlines, numerous phone calls and the not so little matter of $113,055.64 for 28 of us to participate in our pre-rugby festival "South American Soiree".
Surprisingly, at the end of the day, we were only $46 short – oops. But what's a few sheckels amounst mates??? Someone owes a carton though. 
I've got to send a big shout out to Chelsea Kappeler at G Adventures (03) 9413-5846, for all the planning and effort she put in to make the trip the success that it was.
Anyways ..... buckle up now kiddies, keep your limbs within the ride and your screaming to a minimum ..... here we go boys and girls!
