The fourth day of the 18th World Golden Oldies Rugby Festival.
After breakfast at our new found brekky spot, Michel's Patisserie at Central Station where they do an awesome $4.50 bacon and egg roll with BBQ sauce, we headed down to the ovals to prepare for our 2nd game of rugby. We were up against the Central West Old Bulls from Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia.
Poor ol' Batesy had huge blisters on his heels and we were both were suffering from being leg weary, but being the troopers that we are, we played on and had whole heap of fun on the paddock.
You wouldn't read about it, but I stayed off the piss as I was driving Muggsy, Batesy, Jungle and Yvonne over to the Sydney Fish Markets for lunch after crossing the ANZAC Bridge twice in getting there. Jeez, didn't I cop some shit over that.
We decided that seeing as Jungle's ol' Pop – Muggsy, is a huge Tigers fan, we headed over to the Balmain Tigers Leagues Club for a quick beer, only to find it boarded up and deserted. Not sure what happened there???
Wednesday is usually our Dingoes team dinner and we'd decided to dine at Jordan's on Darling Harbour. It is billed as one of the finest seafood restaurants in town, but unfortunately it never hit those lofty heights during our visit, pretty ordinary to say the least.
