Armistice Day in Australia!!!
Armistice Day in Australia is very similar to Veterans Day in the United States and is always observed at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
As a nation Australians are fiercely proud of our military achievements, as they've helped forge us as a nation that we are. Today is one of two days (the other being ANZAC Day) that we honor the memories of those who've fallen in the name, honor and values of the best country in the world.
I had an eventful day, but I'll tell you about that tomorrow. Today is for the men and woman of courage, who've sacrificed so much for us – Lest We Forget.
