Day 5 will be the second "working on my suntan" day!!!
By general consensus, it was decided that we start early on finishing the roofing project and as hard as we tried, there were simply no places of worship in the town of Castlegar, that had an early 6AM service on this day of the Sabbath. Maybe some God-botherers would stop by for a chat.
We lost Dancing Bear from yesterday, but Bruce the "Loose Goose" stepped up and the crew was off and running. We had the back side of the house shingled before breakfast. It took most of the day to finish the rest of the house but we were aided by a cooling breeze as the thermometer hit 32c (90f) again. We called it a day around 3:30PM, as the shingles were getting too hot to stand on again. All that's left to do tomorrow is the ridge caps, install a Whirly Bird vent and seal all the vents that we installed.
I can tell you first hand that the fluid replenishment was a thing of pure joy, but what a combination - water plus Gatorade with Heineken chasers. Just for future reference, the cold Heineken went down like a two dollar crack ho!!!
Once the job is done, I will be extending my standard One-Two warranty on the job to Yvonne: Once I leave - too bloody bad!!!. 
After a quick tub, Yvonne treated Jungle and myself to dinner at one of the local restaurants. From there, we went on a bit of a town tour before parking up at Jungles and hitting the fart sack.
When Jungle said we'd "raise the roof" when I hit town, I was thinking of something a little different. Now if he asks me to "paint the town red" I will be asking for further clarification and/or a labor contract!!!
I've had ball while I've been here at Jungles and wouldn't swap it for all the tea in China! The positives far out weight the negatives with roofing for two days - I have a great tan, I know where my hamstrings, calves and achilles tendons are and I know what the water/Gatorade/Heineken combination tastes like!!!
