TERRANORA
Tweed Shire
Terranora was orginal location for the first camp site of timber cutters, when they arrived in the 1840's
- The origins of the name are not clear, but it seems "Terranora" was the anglicised name for the hill-lands spared for sugar blocks.
- Being mostly hill country, it's a great spot for a scenic "drive in the country".
