TRIP MILEAGE – 1,710 miles or 2,752 kilometres
I got up just before dawn at Karlie Schmidt's family sheep property in Yarrawalla, just outside Pyramid Hill, which made for some spectacular photo opportunities.
Karlie's dad and myself went out on a stock inspection lap of the property, before Karlie and I heading into town to grab some gear for Christmas lunch tomorrow and to say G'day to some of her friends & relatives.
The afternoon was spent relaxing with a book and a couple of adult beverages before heading back into town to the Vic Hotel for a couple of 'heart starters'. From there, it was a couple of blocks over to the annual 'Chook Raffles' at the local CFA Hall.
After closing the pub, we walked over to Karlie's grandma's place for White Russian's in gravy boats & measuring cups ..... but that's another drinking story!
