Headed home to Australia.
After nearly 13 years of living in the USA, I decided to head back to Australia to see where life's journey would take me.
As I wasn't in a hurry to do anything silly - like finding immediate employment, I decided to take advantage of Air New Zealand's offer of one free stop on the way home.
Having never set foot in Tahiti before, I figured a week in the sun and a bit surf would be just what's required after a solid month of packing and moving commitments.
