1 OK ... enough rubber-necking down at the gold & spice souks ... time to blow the froth off a couple of coldies at the Sherlock Holmes English Pub, who's Happy Hour just so happens to last 8 hours.
2 I'm doing my best for world peace and harmony by being an Aussie partaking in a Belgium beer (Stella Artois), while watching the All Blacks (New Zealand) pump the Poms (England) on the idiot box in a Pommy pub in Dubai while listening to Britney and the Back Street Boys.
3 I know "This Is Africa" and all, so I'm not complaining that the pubs happy hour is from 12 noon til 8PM. Pints are a mere 25 dirhams ($9.30 AUD / $6.80 USD)
4 I basically had the joint to myself .... and I made the most of the fairy lights!!!
