As the worms were biting and at Mary's suggestion, collectivly we decided to head over to Northerlies Beach Bar & Grill for a feed tonight.
It would be fair to say that it's a cut lunch and a waterbag to get out there, but we availed ourselves of their free shuttle service for the 20-minute drive.
The first thing that strikes you upon entry is the sheer size and volume of what is essentially open-air dining. The upmarket "pub grub" Brasserie Menu had something of interest for all of us, with a couple partaking in the Seafood Hot Bowl and a couple grabbing some decent steaks.
Our meals were top notch, drink service so-so, plate & table clearance a bit ordinary and for the money they were asking for meals - queueing at a cash register was right up there with "cattle class chow hall" for a dining experience.
All up though it was great food, great company, and a great night.
