We pulled up at a Pemex servo in the tiny town of Tulum and as I walked in the door I heard the trumpeting of the arc angels and saw the radiating light that drew me instantly towards the rear of the building, towards twin sliding doors with BEER CAVE written above it.
Sweet baby Jesus, Joseph and Mary there is a god and they've built a refrigerated altar to all things amber, with the only things missing being a comfy La-Z-Boy recliner and satellite TV.
It'd be pushing it to expect Hooters girls and non-splash piss troughs ..... would it???
