What's the chances of having a couple of sherbets and throwing around a few pork pies with some off your old footy mates that you've spent the best part of a decade partaking in Blood, Sweat & Beers??? Every chance in the world as it turns out. Our former front rower and Club Captain's joint - Big K BBQ, was the venue of choice where several 43rd State Crimson Lions decided to catch up.
It was great catching up with likes of Hippo Steve Kubinski, Kush Mark Kubinski, Gunny Scott Carlisle, Vinnie Vincent Spagnolo, Barbie, Ferret Paul Vines, Opie Scott Reynolds, Shotty and Flamingo Blaine Bergin.
Got to say, I haven't laughed that hard & often in ages. 
When leaving Big K BBQ, I glanced across the street and noticed a Garden City Police cruiser just idling in the car park of a local business. I hald jokingly said "What's the chances of a funny talker getting pulled over at 10 o'clock at night, leaving a local restaurant/bar, in a predominately industrial area, in a new silver 2 door V8 GT Ford Mustang, with Montana licence plates?" The boys were having a good giggle while betting on just how far I'd get before being collared???
Not far, in all reality ..... I made it a block and a half before the officer lights me up. His bullshit excuse for doing so was that the "car wasn't coming up in his system". I explained that it was a rental car. He asked if I'd been drinking which I answered honestly as only having one - four hours earlier. He says "Thank you sir, have a good evening" and walks back to his car.
