CHRISTCHURCH ~ Dingoes On The Punt - Tavern Harewood (Canterbury, NZL)

TODAYS MILEAGE – 11.3 miles or 21 kilometres
TRIP MILEAGE – 3,613 miles or 5,815 kilometres
Most of the Dingoes boys - Chucky, Nev Day, Dougy Doug, ET, Patty, AG, Mugsy, Nev, Rosco, Macca & myself headed down to the Tavern Harewood for an arvo on the punt.
Just to make it interesting, for those of us who have no idea about the nags, we got everyone to throw a dollar in a ‘Punters Pot’ and then pick a number of a horse on a race. If your number come up, you got the pot or shared it with whomever picked the same number. If no one picked the winner, then it jackpotted on the next race, which made for a tidy some on a couple of occasions with a group of us 'feeding the betting dish'.
