Every Golden Oldies rugby festival has an organised 'Activity Day' and this year it was a visit to the spa/resort town of Hanmer Springs, which a few of stayed at earlier in the week.
With my two broken ribs, I decided to pass on the daytrip as spending nearly 3 hours bouncing around in a bus each way, was less than ideal. Instead I opted to occupy myself by exploring the city of Christchurch on foot.
