Today was officially the final day of the G Adventures - Best Of Northern Spain tour, as such there was only a couple of us left in Madrid, but that didn't slow us down in the least in checking out more of the city.
Anna and myself decided to go check out the Palacio Real de Madrid (Royal Palace of Madrid) for ourselves. Dan & yours truly caught up for lunch at Bentley´s Burger where we managed to sort out what we were doing in the morning. That afternoon Anna, Dan & myself met up with Gunther and Thomas for a couple of pre-departure beverages at La Fontana de Oro.
I spent the evening exploring some of the back alleys around the lively Puerta del Sol (Gate of the Sun), in search of street food eateries.
