Our lunch stop for the day was at the ""Desert Explorers Adventure Centre" on the outskirts of the regional capital town of Swakopmund. While we were there, most of my fellow "Chakalaka’s" took the opportunity to book activities like sand boarding, four wheelers, sky diving and some boat trips for our scheduled free day tomorrow.
As I had participated in those types of activities on numerous occasions previously, I was going to make the most of it and do some exploring myself.
