How y'all doin'?
The premise of this trip was pretty simple, due to 8 team members commanding a coup of sorts and leaving to work for the opposition, the boss was looking for volunteers to help out for a week or so in our Hobart office.
I initially put my hand up to head down for a week, but after hearing just how desperate things where down there, I ended up signing up for a two week tour, with the only trepidation being that I’d be down there over the Australia Day long weekend and thus not imbibing with my mates around a pool with a few adult beverages.
In the end I decided that nothing ventured and nothing gained, so off I went in my endeavours of crossing off one of my remaining items on my Australian travel bucket list – visiting all Australian states and territories.
Two weeks in Tasmania will be ticking that box for me ..... that'd be a win-win in my books.
