Greeting & Salutations Culture Vultures,
Didn't seem like it was only November last year that I got back from Japan, but as I was going to be in Brisbane for some appointments, a leisurely road trip was in order.
Being that I don’t plan my trips with any military precision or anything, other than fronting up for scheduled flight or event times, I meandered my way down the Australian eastern seaboard, at a pace that my body and interests dictated.
If the truth be told, one part of the trip was not decided until I got in the car on the Monday morning and flipped a coin - to see if I was headed North and home, or South to Melbourne.
Having done the trip, I’m really glad that I picked heads. Aside from ticking off a couple of things from the bucket list, I stayed with a couple of old mates of mine in Canberra and then hung out with another couple of great kids in Melbourne.
Anyways ..... buckle up, keep your limbs within the ride and your screaming to a minimum ..... here we go!
