TRIP MILEAGE – 2604 miles or 4191 kilometres
Stepping off the plane at Nadi International Airport and it's pouring down cats and dogs, is not the best way to start a week on the South Pacific paradise that is Fiji.
Not that I had a care in the world. Our base for the week would be the Pearl South Pacific and the weather frocasters reckoned it would be sunshine all the way.
