Time to hit the road again 
Today was all about travelling two hours (110 kilometres or 58 miles) south of Hanoi, into the province of Ninh Binh, where you will find the ancient Vietnamese capital of Hoa Lu (which dates back to the 10th century), as well as the Bich Dong Pagoda and Tam Coc.
We decided on an all day tour, which I beleive cost $45 USD a person. I actually thoroughly enjoyed myself, as there was plenty to do and see and as we basically had our own bus for the five of us, it made for a great day.
