Saturday October 2nd, 2010

TODAYS MILEAGE – 4 miles or 6 kilometres
TRIP MILEAGE – 1890 miles or 3042 kilometres

The 7th and final day of the 18th World Golden Oldies Rugby Festival.

Had a bit of a slow start to the day, due to the self inflicted head injuries from the previous nights activities, but all's good.

Yvonne & Jungle wanted to do some souvenir shopping, while Batesy was on the hunt for something for his 2 year old – Matilda. I was just tagging along with him for something to do and managed to find a camera shop on our travels.

Needless to say, I did some major damage to the hip pocket by purchasing a new Canon EOS 5D MKII camera body after some serious haggling. I managed to get $1200.00 off the retail price and was well chuffed that I got the rig for a couple of hundred dollars less then I could find in the United States.

From there we all seemed to park up for the arvo, in preparation for the Festivals Grand Finale and dinner.
