Grey skies and drizzling rain ..... yet again. Fair dinkum, I'm thinking Jungle must have brought the weather with him from Canada, it's just that it took a couple of days to find him???
We stopped off at Byron Bay for breakfast at Fresh and as it was raining - hey, something different right, we got back in the ute and headed on down South to Sydney.
As it's only 800 odd k's, the trip was fairly easy until we passed Newcastle and joined the lunatics on the freeway at peak hour.
For the next 3 days, I will have to be doing some work for the company, so they put me up at the Marriot Courtyard – North Ryde Upon arrival, we were met with a look of disbelief by the staff, as we unloaded 3 suitcases, 2 backpacks, 2 swags, a laptop bag and a large esky. They must have been thinking "who are these mullet fluffing country rednecks ..... and what the hell are they doing here?"
As Jungle was far from impressed with the traffic conditions on the way in, he decided to shout us a feed at Orchards, for getting him to the hotel safely. He had the steak, which I might add, was on of the Top 5 steaks I'd ever tried, while I had the Chinese roasted pork neck, which was also awesome. Hotel food is usually bland and boring, but that feed was sensational.
A couple of sherbets and a congac and it was time for the fart sack.
