Jungle's just travelled 9375 miles or 15087 kilometres in getting over here, and as you can see by the Flight Map, he was really dragging the chain by the time he arrived. 
I shot down to the "tin crow" depot and picked up Jungle 2:30PM, it was then straight around to my place, the "Poverty Palace" to freshen him up a bit and to finish off final preparations for our upcoming trip. There was also the not so small matter of it also being the birthday of one of my best mates Fluxy, so the trip starts with a leisurely 4.3 kilometre drive to Casa d'Flux
Fluxy's birthday just so happenes to coincide with the weekly Townsville Hash House Harriers run & walk, which was also hosted at Casa d'Flux. I reckoned this was a great opportune time to get Jungle's liver and kidneys acclimatized to the harsh Australian conditions and to get him over his jet lag.
Now, for those not in the know, Hash House Harriers are a drinking club with a running or walking problem, depending on your levels of fitness, enthusiasm or stupidity. Jungle was introduced to the likes of Sly Root, Nameless, No Knob, Teaser, Crapper, Blow Job, Blow Back, Suzy Wong, Caviar, Pythagorarse and a cast of lunatic characters of dubious social and moral ethics.
Much to the gathered crowds delight, Jungle got caught wearing new running shoes during the Kangaroo Court, which resulted in him having one of his new shoes filled full of beer and he was then made to drink from the shoe. Needless to say, that was the beginning of the end for him as he toddled off to bed around 11:30PM, which was a huge effort considering all the time he spent on aircraft getting over here.
