The whole purpose of heading back early to Australia, was to surprise my mate of mine, for over 20 years, Philthy, on his 50th birthday.
Hooly Dooly, 50 not out, but a great appeal!!!!
We all gathered at the Salt bar, 0n Casuarina Beach, just South of where his ponderosa for a few sherbets and a blowing out of the candles. Luckily someone thought ahead and didn’t put all 50 candles on the cake or we would have had to call the Fire Brigade to extinguish the blaze.
All in all it was good night, Josh took the right Sianne home, Leethal got a great score from the gymnastic judges and I nursed a self inflicted head injury – yeah, you’re right, you had to be there!!!
