I have now come full circle on this trip. Today was my last day in the Northern Hemisphere and I was back iat the Holiday Inn Edinburgh – City West sorting out all my gear.
With the airlines having a strict 51 pound(23 kilogram) weight limit on checked luggage, it was another 74.00 trip to the post office to offload some of the gear I had picked up in my three weeks in Scotland and Ireland.
As my flight was scheduled to leave around 7PM, I had the luxury of simply veg’ing out for most of the day, in preparation for losing two days of my life, crossing the International Date Line.
As with the journey, let me give you some numbers on just getting to my 3 hour layover in Singapore:
