What do ya reckon??? Kick the heels up one more time???

The final event of the festival was the Official Closing Ceremony & Grand Finale Dinner, which was held at Te Papa Tongarewa (Museum of New Zealand).

As with all good things, it must eventually come to an end. The week in Wellington has flown by and I've had a wonderful time hooking up with my old mates from Alice Springs, as well as making some more new ones.

As closing ceremonies go, this one was pretty ordinary as they jammed 4000 people into a tent and only had 1400 seats. Not to worry, as I had to get up at 3AM in order to catch a flight to Australia, so I wasn't planning on staying long.

There is a tinge of sadness for me, as I will most likely not be seeing quite a few of the crew until 2008 when we'll all reassemble in Edinburgh (Scotland) for the 17th World Golden Oldies Rugby Festival.

Until then my friends – stay safe, stay happy and see ya when I'm looking atchas!!!! Be Happy
