The day was always going to be a cruizy affair, so after sorting out a few things with Frankie's home office PC, we were off to the Ettamogah Pub for a spot of lunch.
For any of us Aussies who remembers the old Post magazine, the Ettamogah Pub is an icon that should be visited at least once in lifetime. It started out as the pub on the comic pages of the magazine and then turned into the bricks and mortar as we see it today.
Frankie and I went for some lamb shanks and a chicken Caesar salad and it was so–so. Nothing flash but nothing foul. The pub is a typical tourist trap and unfortunately you can't complain about the service as there is none. A bit ordinary really.
Tomorrow, we're off to the footy final for my fortieth birthday.
