Yeah, you're dead right, it's Sunday and universally recognized as a slack attack day.
While we were floating around yesterday I got a copy of Linux in the SUSE 10.0 variety. Being sharper than the average bowling ball, I also scored the SAMS SUSE Linux 10 Unleashed bible.
I'm not sure if you should call me pig headed or a 10 watt globe in a search light, but I could not get SUSE 10.0 to recognize the wireless NIC or even get out to the Internet via the onboard NIC. I spent all day trying to work this out and still can't hit the net with the Operating System.
This only goes to solidify that Linux is not very intuitive and is basically a command based OS with a GUI. This is not a bad thing, as that is how Windows started - remember DOS??? It was only 25 years ago after all.
Not a real lively way to spend a Sunday huh?
