On the road again.... Be Happy

Today was going to be an easy day. Everyone was cutting out and we had to return the condo by 10AM. Judging by the amount of stuff that was packed out of the condo, you would have thought 50 people were staying in it. I had everything all stowed away in the Man Pad, so I was just getting under peoples feet.

I took Makenna and Mikaela for a walk along the golf course as that kept the three of us out of everyone's hair. It's funny seeing the personalities of a 4 year old and an 18 month come through in a 1 hour walk. For such young people, it really opens your eyes, but only if you're looking.

Makenna and I had a bit of a run in over her telling a fib about turning on a heater. I asked why she did it and she said Mum wanted it on. Further prying revealed that this was not the case and when I explained to Makenna why she should tell a lie, even when teasing (as she put it), she went real quite before the crocodile tears flowed and "I want my mummy" line played ad nauseam. Pretty funny to see how she tries to work people her way. Be Happy

After updating the blog, catching up on email and seeing what's going on in the world (gotta love corporations and individuals who leave their wireless networks open) it was off to Butte (Montana) to do a bit of banking and some gear to try and eliminate the tow dolly strap issue AGAIN!!!!

By 3 o'clock I had it all together and hit the road. The plan was simply to hit Missoula (Montana) and chill out before heading up to Flathead Lake (Montana) for the July 4th weekend with my mate Gump and his family, which brings to me to where I am now.

I'm sitting in the car park of Walmart here in Missoula and glancing out my window, I cast my eye over the dichotomies of society that is America. Across the United States, Walmart allows anyone with a RV to park up for the evening without charge. So here I sit in the Man Pad sharing the car park with RV's ranging in price from $500 to $500,000. The high priced RV owners have closed all the curtain, closing out the world, so to speak but the RV owners on the lower end are all out having a beer together ..... SO guess where I'm off to???
