Today is Friday the 13th - how superstitious are you????. 
I got up bright and early to spend a bit of time at the world renowned Carlsbad Caverns National Park and I'd have to say, I wasn't disappointed in the slightest.
From there I took a bit of a detour through Odessa (Texas) to stop by Teak & Charlie's Jersey Girl Pizza for a spot of lunch with the owners as they just so happen to be a couple of mates who I played rugby with at the 43rd State Crimson Lions.
If the truth be told, I could have so easily parked up for an arvo on the gas, but I had a dinner date with my niece in Corinth (Texas), so I had to get my skates on, least I feel the wrath of young Myah, as hell hath no fury like a woman scorned - even if she is 6.
