Fluxy was the first bloke to get into the air and as there are no direct flight to the U.S. from Brisbane (Queensland), he had to head south to Sydney (New South Wales), in order to catch the direct flight to San Francisco (California).

I've done the trip quite a few times and the worst part is the wasted hours spent in airports waiting to get on your next flight.
