Anchorage Cafe

We were headed back to our accommodations Marama Lodge, but decided to take a detour in to the seaport of Bluff - the oldest continuously occupied European settlement in New Zealand.

As the weather wasn't a chance of cooperating - driving rain and cold weather made taking photos from the top of Bluff Hill an impossibility, we decided to rock up to the Eagle Hotel for a counter lunch and an adult beverage. Being a Sunday, there was no food to be had, so we trundled up the road to the Anchorage Cafe, where I enjoyed an awesome homemade hearty seafood chowder.
