The Reserve
We dropped over the top of Mount Cavendish, skirted the deep water port of Lyttelton Harbour and pulled up on the southern side of Governors Bay.
The Allandale Reserve is the endpoint of the 1.8 mile (3 kilometre) walkway that you can cycle or walk on between the reserve and Governors Bay. With the tide out, you get great views out over the mudflats to Lyttelton.
