Wednesday July 19th, 2017
The Plaça de la Verge (Plaza de la Virgen) dates back to roman times and is a major gathering spot for both tourists and locals alike.
The plaza consists of centrally located depiction of Neptune - the Fuente del Turia (Turia Fountain), which is flanked on three sides by some of València's most emblematic buildings - the Cathedral of Santa Maria ( Cathedral–Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady of Valencia), the Basílica de la Virgen de los Desamparados (Our Lady of the Abandoned) and the Palau de la Generalitat (Palace of the Generalitat).
