LARAGH

The "Culture Vulture" Tour
Tuesday September 9th, 2008

12 miles (19 kilometres) from Sally Gap is the small picturesque village of Laragh, which lies at the junction of the main three roads through the Wicklow Mountains.

Laragh is primarily known for its proximity to the Monastic settlement of Glendalough, Sally Gap and the Glenmacnass Waterfall.

Laragh was just basically a lunch stop for us on the way to Glendalough and as you can see, young Matilda and I have come to an understanding that there shall be no more tears when I'm holding here. A significant improvement on when we first met 9 days ago.
