The "No Doot Aboot It Eh!" Tour

At about 20 kilometres (12½ miles) North to South and 45 kilometres (28 miles) East to West, taking a "short cut" across Lake Everard may seem to be a bit of an oxymoron.
Admittedly it was 288 kilometres (179 miles) of corrugated dirt roads, but by going up and across Lake Everard, we saved ourselves 431 kilometres (268 miles), by not having to go the long way round on the bitumen.
