OK ... enough rubber-necking down at the gold & spice souks ... time to blow the froth off a couple of coldies at the Sherlock Holmes English Pub, who's Happy Hour just so happens to last 8 hours.
I'm doing my best for world peace and harmony by being an Aussie - partaking in a Belgium beer (Stella Artois) - while watching the All Blacks (New Zealand) - pump the Poms (England) - on the idiot box - in a Pommy themed pub - in Dubai - while listening to Britney and the Back Street Boys pumping from the inhouse audio.
I know "This Is Africa" and all, so I'm not complaining that the pubs happy hour is from 12 noon til 8PM. Pints are a mere 25 dirhams ($9.30 AUD / $6.80 USD) ..... so see ya in a while.
