We spent Friday morning wandering around COMDEX. This is part of the Microsoft display.
The Las Vegas COMDEX is the largest convention for all things related to computing. Yes even the most hardcore of computer geeks need a little eye candy at times.
Everyone who's anyone is there hawking the wares. Intel was pushing it's Pentium 4.
A butchers hook from the bottom of the "Strip".
I got tickets to see Jay Leno (host of the Tonight Show) at the MGM Grand Hotel/Casino and was far from impressed with the seating and the show.
Across the street from the MGM is the New York, New York.
This is the Bellagio, which for my mind is "the" hotel on the Strip.
The huge pond out front of the Bellagio. Caesars Palace is in the background.
The Venetian is a close second to the Bellagio for opulence.
The main foyer in the Venetian.
One of the many painted ceilings in the Venetian.
You can get Gondola rides through the Venetian, but having visited Venice myself, I passed.
Here's the New York, New York at night. Night time is the right time as all the sight get transformed with a little help in the form of neon lights.
Now that's a bottle of coke.
The Harley Davidson Cafe, great displays but the food sucks and it's way over priced.
The Paris Hotel/Casino had by far the best looking waitresses we found on the Strip.
The free water fountain show at the Bellagio is a "must see" in Vegas.
Photo's just don't do the water show justice.
