PUEBLA DE ZARAGOZA

The "Taco's & Toucan's" Trip

Exploring The City

Monday April 1st, 2019

Founded in 1531 in an area called Cuetlaxcoapan, which means "where serpents change their skin", Mexico's fourth largest city - Puebla de Zaragoza in Puebla state would be our base for the next couple of nights.

With a population of just over 3,250,000, the city is known for mole poblano, chiles en nogada, Talavera pottery as well as having the world's largest Volkswagen factory outside Germany and an Audi plant being the most technologically advanced plant in the western hemisphere.

Our accommodations for the visit would be the Hotel Gilfer, that's centrally located one block over from the Zócalo de Puebla.
