Sossusvlei is located about 68 kilometres (42 miles) west of our base at the Sesriem campsite.
Located in the Namib Naukluft Park (the largest conservation area in Africa, and fourth largest in the world by passing traffic), Sossusvlei's location in the Namib Desert is home to some of the highest dunes in the world, which is the main attraction.
