Ifrane, (which in the regional Berber language means caves), is located at an elevation of 1,665 metres (5,463 feet) and dates back to the earliest settlement in the 16th century.
Being that we're in the middle of summer on the African continent, more than a few of us were surprised to see a blanket of snow covering vast areas of the region.
