With me not being able to seek gainful employment while waiting on my Green Card and facing $5500.00 bill for re-roofing the house, I rolled up my sleeves, procured all the materials, completed the tear off & clean up, then installed 52 sheets of 8' x 4' OSB by myself.
Now that we had a great base to work off, I had a mate of my neighbours’ come and help me with installing the new shingles and associated materials. In the end it took me 2 weeks from go to whoa and cost $1500.00 all up and I'm pretty chuffed with my efforts and the results.
