This is the main London shopping area early on a Sunday morning. You could have fired a cannon down the street and not hit a thing.
We thought driving in the US was hectic until we hit London. Driving deteriorated the more we headed into Europe.

Piccadilly Circus in all it's splendor. Note the millenium clock above the Fosters sign, it reads 489 days left.

Still trying to find Trafalgar Square.

Talk about pomp and ceremony, they even include the horse when changing the guard.
The famous 10 Downing Street. This is a close as you get due to anti-terrorism measures. The white doorway at the end of the street is where the British Prime Minister resides.

You have London Bridge overlooking the Tower of London.
London Tower in it's finest. The green patch was the original moat and sewerage system.

This character is a "Beefeater". They're job is to primarily protect London Tower and secondly walking conduct tours. This was one of the best tours we had been on, solely due to the Beefeater and his theatrics.

This is one of the guards that protect the Crown Jewels. The march and act like toy soldiers but carry live machine guns and flak jackets.

Some of the back street of the Tower.

That's it, blend in, act like Tommy Tourist and no-one will notice you.
Here's a small section of the London Tower Armoury.

London bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down.......
Now there's a head only a mother could love!
Now there's a good looking sort.
This is the original Hard Rock Cafe. It's the one that started the theme restaurant ball rolling.
Believe it or not, Poms would pay $1.50 per hour to sit in these deck chairs in the middle of Hyde Park. Talk about mad dogs and Englishmen.
Yep, that's Buckingham Palace. They had no real beer in the fridge so we did not stay long. ;-)
This was taken in the toilets of Hyde Park tube station. It must warm the cockles of your heart to win the "Best Loo" award.
