You're Farqin' Kidding Me
The irony was not lost on me that I'd literally driven half way around the country only to get taken out on my doorstep.
I only 36 miles (60 kilometres) from home, when a driver blew through a stop sign and forced me into incoming traffic just before a narrow two lane bridge, that I was appoaching at 65 mph (100 kph). I literally had nowhere to go, but fortunatley for me, the lead car with the oncoming traffic saw it all unfold and slowed down considerably to let me get back on my side of the road. Things got real busy - real quick!
