TRIP MILEAGE – 12,500 miles or 20,117 kilometres
We took the short 20 minute tram ride out to the Belém area to sample some of the local delicacies at Pastéis de Belém. This included some of thier world renowned petite baked Portuguese custard tarts and some of thier meat pies, but they didn't come within a bulls roar of an Aussie maggot bag.
