With me having to be back on deck at work on Monday, I begrudgingly left Frankie & Jeff's in the rear view mirror just after 6AM.
I has half a mind to drive straight through to the 'Poverty Palace' in the "Ville", but decided to pull up ½ way at "Keal's" and her husband "Mary's" place just outside "Mackay".
I'm sure glad that I stopped for the night, as it turns out another mate - "Patto" and his two daughters were in town from the other side of the country - so over dinner, a couple of beers and several hours, we all caught up with what we'd all been up to over the past several years.
It was interesting to see and hear where this journey of life has taken us all and how we all are doing 'adult'.
