Heading into Sydney proper.

We packed up the ute and headed out of Macquarie Park to spend the next week at the Oaks Harmony in Haymarket, near Chinatown and Central Station, after sorting out some payment issues with the hotel. Apparently my employer did not cover my stay and was expecting me to foot the bill and get reimbursed later. A quick phone call to my colleagues out at the mine site and we had that all squared away.

Jungle and I stopped off at the site of the 2000 Olympics at Homebush, which is also the site of the National Rugby League Grand Final to be held on the following Sunday. Also managed a stop at the Sydney Markets and seeing as we could not check into our hotel until 2 PM, we checked out the Sydney Fish Markets before walking the ANZAC Bridge to get a few photos.

The rest of the Alice Springs Dingoes arrived from the airport around 4:30PM and were greeted with an esky full of happiness & joy joy, thus ensuring an evening of catching up with our mates, which we haven't seen for the best part of 2 years.
